1963 Fender Jazzmaster. This is an all original guitar, with original case. There is extensive belt buckle wear on the back of the guitar, however, the wear on the rest of the guitar is light. The neck features original frets, which are in good shape, and there is no fretboard wear to speak of. The lacquer on the back of the neck is only lightly worn.
The serial number is L0XXX. The guitar weighs 8.0 lbs. The neck date is JUL 63, body date is 8/63. The pickups measure, neck 7.5K Ohms, bridge 7.9K Ohms. The nice, medium, C shaped neck measures .798" at 1st fret and .984" at 12th fret. Nut measures 1.64".
This guitar is a joy to play and sounds great. The original brown Tolex case is in decent condition. The leather on the handle is black, but is original Fender. Perhaps was replaced at some point.
