1964 Gibson Country Western Natural top, Very Good
193667 Wonderful CW from the last great Gibson year-1964- for Gibson acoustics. They were built ultra light and blemish free. Many of these had adjustable saddles which sometimes muffled the sound, so they are routinely replaced. But when they sound very good people leave them intact. (If it ain't broke, don't fix it).
Once owned by G.E. Smith, still in great condition. It has the deep, rich bass and nice tone typical of 1964 models.
It has a small tight, repaired hairline crack at the very bottom of the heel that does not affect the joint in any way.
Also has a little scrape around the soundhole and at the bottom of the pick guard (you know how excited G. E. gets ) but otherwise the guitar, especially the back body is very clean.
