While this 1987 Gibson Flying V is in perfect playing order, it has seen it's fair share of love and war.
It took a fall forward and the cracked the sides of the body at the neck joint. It was professionally repaired and it's rock solid. Consequently, the neck heel has finish checking on both sides. The headstock also has 2 crack repairs. One on each side, running vertically underneath the low and high E strings.
On the back of the neck are two impressions/scratches/minor gouges. Both are close to each other, sitting behind the G and B strings at the 4th, 5th, and 6th frets. However, they're not very deep. There's also a very light chip in the finish on the back of the neck, behind the G string on the 2nd fret. It's very shallow and is hardly noticed while playing. It's got a couple minor dings here and there on the body, but nothing major. The back of the body is clean of buckle rash, though there are some small, shallow impressions on the wings.
Other than the nut being replaced with (what looks like) a graphite nut, and the repairs done, it's all original and comes with the original Gibson hardcase.
The frets are in stellar shape with barely even a shadow of wear.
Has a 1 11/16" nut width, standard 24 3/4" scale length, and weighs 7 pounds 10 ounces.
