Here we have a super cool 1958 Martin 0-18. This guitar has been completely restored from head to toe. Restoration included a replacement top Adirondack spruce with 1/4'scalloped bracing along with small maple Bridge plate and appropriately sized Side supports and head brace and popsicle brace a celluloid tortoise lacquered in Pic Gard definitely adds to the touch of this guitar. Guitar has also had a replacement Honduran mahogany back made for as well with accurately sized Adirondack Spruce bracing with correct center reinforcement. The rim of the guitar is 100% original with original head block and tail block. Rim has had significant holes filled with Honduran mahogany and lower bout patch repair as you will notice from the photos that I provided. Entire body has been sprayed with a Beautiful shade top done in nitro cellulose lacquer as well as correctly colored sides, and back to match original neck. Things original to the instrument neck is original along with its original Brazilian, rosewood, fingerboard, and frets that have recently been leveled re-crowned and dressed tuners are original Brazilian Rosewood bridges original Honduran mahogany rim is original along with head brace, still obtaining its original serial number and tail block. This restoration was a fun one to do this guitar has come such a long way has been about a year and a half in my shop. Finally got a chance to complete it. The nitrocellulose lacquer finish has been aged lightly to match the neck are you notice from the photos that I have provided. The guitar does have lots of little nicks chips, dings dents, and superficial blemishes all over it as you'll notice from the photos that I have provided.
