A rare and fancy high grade Fairbanks open back banjo. Highly engraved with a carved heel and carved friction tuners .the electric tone ring is the precursor of the whyte lady tone ring. Spun over rim. Nice original banjo.

An interesting 00-28C conversion. TJ Thompson converted the top to an early 30s spec with his designed interpretation of a pyramid bridge. The neck was made by Steven Kovacik , with a fancy headstock inlay, 1 11/16” nut width and a plain ebony board. The sound and playability are excellent....
