This is probably the rarest Gibson solid body guitar ever produced & was their Top of the Line model, very nice clean Polaris White finish showing some normal weather checking, it has 3 incredible sounding PAF pickups, its ebony fingerboard has white block inlays & multi-laminations of binding, its headstock has the ornate “Custom” inlay, unusual yet typical of that era factory double stamped serial #, all gold hardware including its factory Grover tuners, itspickup covers & its ABR-1 bridge, what sets this Les Paul/SG Custom apart from the rest is its factory short vibrola w/Pearl inlaid Ebony Block tailpiece, lastly this very guitar is pictured in “Gibson Electrics - The Classic years” by A.R.Duchossoir on page 135 in living color, this is the ultimate example ofits kind, it is a 100% all original SG/Les Paul Custom, it is excellent condition overall & comes with its matching black/yellow lined hard case. $24995.
