Tweed 2x10” combo, interesting transitional model, chassis with 5B4 circuit with 6SC7 octal-base preamp tables but in the new-for-’54 “wide panel” cabinet, which replaced the “TV front” style. 30 watts from a pair of 6L6s in cathode bias (great low-end growl) 4 inputs (2 instrument, 2 microphone), controls for tone, instrument volume, and microphone volume. Previously on the road with Jackson Browne's band. One of the amps that really started to distinguish Fender from their competition (and leave them in the dust for the most part). This one sounds terrific with that aforementioned strong bass response and agressiveness, runs well, and has its original transformers, but has been recovered (done quite nicely) and has a pair of newer Weber 10” speakers. Handwired in Fullerton, California, USA.
