This is the 1957 Les Paul Custom Reissue with the all-mahogany body known as the Black Beauty.
Gold parts, diamond head inlays and multi-layered binding on the body and the head give it a high-end look.
The neck has the thick shape typical of the '57 model and equipped with Burstbucker 1 & 2 pickups.
Two pickup rings and pegs have been changed.
A setscrew of the 6th string tuner is broken and glued so that the tuner cannot be removed. (This is not a problem in use).
There are several tiny dents and scratches on the body top, many tiny dents and shallow scratches on the back and sides of the body, and several very shallow dents on the back of the neck.
The frets are slightly dented around the plain strings, but overall about 80% remaining, and the neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
