2004 Master Built ’61 Stratocaster Closet Classic by Mark Kendrick
This is the "1961 Stratocaster Closet Classic" model built by Mark Kendrick, a dedicated builder for many guitarists and the creator of Eric Clapton's "Mercedes Blue Stratocaster".
This model is not weatherchecked, but has a slightly matte finish, dull metal parts, and yellowed plastic parts.
The neck is a narrow C-shape like a regular '60, the fingerboard has a 7.25 radius, and the vintage style with thin frets is equipped.
There are age-related paint checks around the joint plates and a jack, color scorch all over the body, multiple scratches on the body top, buckle marks on the body back, shallow dents with multiple paint cracks on the body ends and sides, and very tiny spots on the sides of the headstock.
The frets left about 70%, and the neck and the truss rod are in excellent playing condition.
Fret: Vintage type
Case: Original Hard Case
